I think it's because there's women who are afraid to act on it even when they *know* they have it, because depending on how advanced it is, they might lose one or both breasts and they wouldn't be a "complete" woman, risking their lives.
With more awareness, more understandment. That's how I see it.
Well, sorry to bust your fine theory here but breast cancer is actually a lot more frequent than pancreatic cancer hence the huge deal about it. I'm not saying it's less important to educate people about pancreatic cancer, I'm saying the more likely thing should be shoved in our faces more, you know, to maybe help save a person or two. Also, men can get breast cancer too, not just busty women.
