No, in the UK tea is pretty much the default beverage. Feeling thirsty? Have a cup of tea.

We're not that addicted, most of my modern generation has squash, water, carbonated beverages etc

Believe me, we really are. Even people who don't particularly like tea drink more tea than average for pretty much any other country in Europe.

So do I, and seriously? Very few people? What part of the country do you live in? I used to think it was just a stereotype until I lived in the Netherlands for a few months, they think they drink a lot of tea but they barely even touch the stuff in comparison.

I'm from the midlands, probably the least ethnically diverse part too. When I tell people I don't like tea they look at me like I just grew another head.
