We all know that box

How did this become a universal thing? I thought it was just my grandma.

Wasn't it be obvious what was inside them once the tin left the kitchen?

My grandma would hides her cookies in plain sight when she placed the tin in the living room. She knew we wouldn't bother checking so she had the cookies all to herself.

My mother has several of those in her sewing room. They're all full of cookies. She says her sewing room is the best place to hide her cookies and brownies. Every one thinks they're sewing supplies. One X-mas I found the extra large tin. We now keep the whiskey in it.
