When I switch to automatic after years of driving a manual

I'd advise you to get one just because of how fun it is to drive one. I had a lot of trouble learning it but once I got the hang of it I preferred it to an automatic.

Learning stick-shift (manual) is a very useful skill, especially if you ever plan to drive in Europe because a lot of their cars are manual.
