I had a pair of these and I went to school with them. I got them taken away because I got angry at some kid and ran over his toes and had to wear shoes that the school provided.

That's pretty damn equivalent to stepping on someone's toes. They should have punished you in the same way as if you had stepped on his toes repeatedly.

They punished both of us because he started it by pushing me and taking my food. I think that they called his mom or dad and he started bawling. They just took my shoes and told me not to bring them again.
