I'm doing some training to improve my flexibility, and I hope one day I'll be able to do splits, but there's a lot of training left for me to do that...

Good luck with that criis. When I was in the first grade I was training karate and I was able to do a split but lost the ability like after I stoped training in the second grade.

I was quite good at it but I didn't like the fact that soon I would go to a more advanced group where I don't know anyone and they much older that I am.Also I didn't want to go on competitions especialy the ones you fight in to win.It was fun tho but also got a little boring later..so yea.

Ohh I see. Anyways, you can always do it in your free time! :)

True I did do it a little but I'm too lazy so I quit but still I decided to workout in my free time and every day a little more so I can be more fit and have a good body.

I could always do splits, I guess you just gotta be sporty/active enough

That's not very good for the knees, there's too much stress on the front leg causing it to hyper-extend, you shouldn't start working on an oversplit unless your pelvis is on the ground with a normal split, then slowly increase the oversplit, maintaining contact with the ground.
