To my knowledge even with that disregard they still lost. If this is referring to WW2 the Finns actually regained territory from the Russians that they lost in previous wars. Hitler at the time recognized much he needed Finnland that when the countries negotiated (I believe it was the Prime Minister) one of the Finns smoked during the entire meeting and rather than Hitler demanding that he put it out, he outlawed smoking and tobacco throughout Germany and Austria and never smoked in his life, sat through it. The Finns had more power to them than that of Germany in the north which in turn is why when the end of the war drew closer the Finns were able to transition to the Allies so easily. They were a force to be reconed with. They only took what they lost and expelled the Germans shortly afterward.

What if those 400,000+ were kidnapped and turned into cyborgs and Finland is gonna take over the world cause Hitler never died and he became a cyborg and is now leading the Cyborgs of Finland. And when we thought he died he had really he escaped to Finland and the US didn't want to tell anyone that he had escaped.
The Soviets were all about quantity over quality.
