They pulled it because the big cinema chains refused to show it. This isn't Sony being weak. It's cinemas wanting to avoid attacks from nutters!

They just said in the news that Sony is gonna play it in select theaters. Its an awesome marketing opportunity. Oh your movie did well? Well ours pissed off an entire country so we win.
