I got a girl one day call me ignorant because I don't read as often and all she reads is fiction shit. If you're gonna try to educate me, tell me you read the encyclopedia everyday or something.

I'm my own personal experience, this is 100% true. But I also have experienced the intellectual douchebags, the ones who don't have to say much to let everyone know that they think are the smartest and most well-read person in the room.

It has a meaning! It means that the person without knowledge (no books) is making a lot of pointless noise to try and do something, but the person WITH the knowledge is staying calm.
