If it was burned that badly, the nerves might have been damaged enough that she couldn't feel it very well.

You wouldn't want to go just anywhere. You would want to find someone who's done it before. Scare tissue can be tricky to tattoo over. It doesn't take ink the same way as skin that hasn't been scared. (So I'm guessing the burns would be different too) Do your research before choosing. My guess. Go to a big city on one of the coasts. Where they have those famous cover up artists.

What this artist did is amazing but What if you got tan but that one part of your face was still pale.
