When that one person talks sh*t about your favorite band

I should restate it. When someone states an opinion it's what they think (sometimes mean) however, there are some who state their opinions like they are facts

Okay. Say someone is talking shit about your favorite band. Why would you care what they think? You like the band. Nothings gonna change that.

I agree with this guest. If you don't like a band, you state it. You don't have to go on and on ranting about how much you hate them.

Well maybe the person should just ignore them.

But what if they're one of those really annoying, pushy people that are always in your face?

*Correction: I hardly like myself but if someone points out a flaw of mine, that's a different thing.

I'd tell them that they are being obscenely annoying and that they're opinion is unwanted.
