Norton is the most annoying software. It embeds its self in your programs drivers and your programs become dependant on it to reach the internet. So in the future when you decide to rid of it, it causes massive amounts of problems, not to mention it eats up a crap load of memory. I don`t know if its changed since then but yea, I don`t use anti-virus crap, I don`t keep anything vital on the computer so if there is ever a problem I just re install windows, or ubuntu if I am in the mood.
