Anyone wanna interpret Blurred Lines for me? I've heard it a few times, and I can gather it's maybe about a man seducing a woman? Reply your thoughts.

I think what is meant to be about is those girls who "shake their ass" in tiny miniskirts then wont "give it up", with the songs reaction to this being its ok to have sex with her whether she fully consents or not because" I know you want it anyway". The reason it can be considered a bad song is because it propagates exactly the wrong message. People, in this case women, do not owe anybody anything just because of how they dress or act and making assumptions like "she's wants it" is just wrong. It also generally just has some really unpleasant and disturbing lyrics it most of which objectify/degrade women.

Yes and no, I think it reveals a lot about our rape culture because these men are singing about how it's apparently acceptable to disregard a girls choices by what she is doing or wearing, but yes it also does allude to rape itself throughout the song.

Correct it's generally about the "blurred lines" of what is or isn't consent
