I see the same emotion. If anything its because you only see half her face and at least 3/4 of squidwards.

Not to mention the size of the eyes and face. Squidwards are obviously larger, making it easier and more apparent to show emotion.

As well as the portions of which you pause at. Due to the being movie/tv show, you can hardly expect to get the full force from just a picture.

Might also be because Elsa was like "Oh NO what have I done?" While he was thinking "Oh NO PLEASE OH PLEASE DON'T HURT ME NEXT!"
