Yeah, I found out based on my experience that if you're friends for a long time and get to know a person really well, its either you'll hate him or love him more. There's no in between. And when you find out that you don't like him, then that's when you're friendship will die
Lies. I was best friends with my friend for 9 years when we got in a stupid fight, and now we're barely aquaintances. It's mostly that we grew up to have very different personalities, but remembering how close we were is so distant and strange now.
I agree with those who posted that this isn't acurate. I've had a 30 year freindship that ended over RELIGION. She felt I was going to HELL for not believing in what she believed in. Another friendship of 20 years ended when she accused me of trying to be with her husband when SHE left him to move to Hawaii to be with someone else. Deflecting her BS onto me. She didn't last a month. She crawled back to her husband with her tail between her legs and HE TOOK HER BACK! Yet another of 10 years ended because he could not understand why we would never be a couple.

My friend of 8 years talked crap behind my back and compared us constantly. And I was a happy-go-lucky fool who thought she was my best friend. I'm glad I found out though, so I wasn't living a lie for the rest of my senior year in h.s.
I've casually studied psychology (among many other subjects) you wouldn't believe how easy it makes things like negotiations over equipment cost or labor charges.
me and my oldest friend have been friends since we were 3- so around 11/12 years ago :) went to the same primary school, then different secondary schools, then I left mine after 2 years and got into the same school as her :) can't see myself shaking her any time soon!
I ship it!
