You don't have to bow, but you could do everyone a favor and withhold judgement on community members until you've been around long enough to have a clue what you're talking about. Just trying to look out for ya, little buddy.
For example, longstanding members know I like to rip on Texas, especially back in the golden days of FS, but I realize that not all Texans are like that. I've heard the cityfolk are a bit more enlightened than that, but there's definitely a "good 'ol boy" situation going on over there. The politics are a mess, and there's a very real effort to keep women and minorities down.
That said, I joke mostly to draw attention to that. But if you want to throw insults at individuals instead of discuss the issue, that's your prerogative, I suppose.
