The former. I was born in September of '88. The 90's were an awesome decade - some even call it "the last good decade".

I was born in 1998, but when 90's kids talk about stuff they had in their childhood, I had them too! I am a 2000 kid (kinda) but I was just before the modernisation and enjoyed it the good ol' way :)

Last good decade? Or people aren't old enough to be nostalgic for the decades after.

It's more of a mix. Born in the late 80s and very early 90s you're a 90s kid. Born in the late 90s you're more of a 90's toddler. Born in the early 80s you're more of 90's teenager than a kid.

I've always considered the 90s kid to have been born in 1990, because that's what I am and I've always been in school with people of the same age

well for me, people who experienced the 90's tradition are the 90's kids.

I was born in '93, so I consider myself a 90's kid since I had a lot of the cool stuff and watched the later 90's shows.

I was born in '94! I consider that to make me a 90's kid.

I don't know, and I don't care (even though I should technically be a 90's kid according to one of these definitions). I remember having watched terrible cartoons on TV, and the absolute musical masterpieces I own are either from the 70's, or made after 2000.
