It's even better when Lake Michigan freezes. Grand Haven is absolutely beautiful the entire year - great beaches in the summer, a frozen beauty in the winter.

Yeah, last year 90% of it froze! I'm from Holland and it's always awesome walking out on the frozen lake

I've been to that Lighthouse, it's awesome in the winter. Especially when the lake freezes and you can walk on the ice.
