No reason to be scared Tara, you're actually a valuable member. Matthew just posts pony pics all day long. Have you seen how many comments he makes everyday? I'm sick of reading his bullshit comments (especially the pony porn). I guess there's probably a clip site he would prefer.
There's a lot of vitriol in this thread. Mgoveia, you may be a weirdo, but I'm proud to call you OUR weirdo. (and no offense intended for the "devil" comment, figured you'd take it as the joke it was)
It's pretty easy to tell which people are giving a good-natured ribbing, and which people are just resorting to hate because they have no idea how to troll properly.

"#ACAB"
Also, dear guest, YES, most definitely. We call it "surgical strikes" and "bringing freedom", but it's still the same building-destroying and innocent-people-killing shit.

Most disliked comment on this thread. I know I would succeed.
Anybody getting randomly stopped and searched on the street (without reasonable suspicion) is offensive regardless of race/creed/color/sex. The fact that NYC allows this pisses me off, this is some of the same imperial bullshit that lit the powder kegs in 1775.

Unfortunately this statistic isn't true, however yes- in certain areas of London you are more likely to be stop searched if you are black. The reason for this is because of the large black communities on London and the high volume of crime that comes from a densely populated city. As a police officer (now off the beat) being called racist by passers by for doing my job when they had no idea what had happened 5 minutes prior is really wearing. I never acted discriminately towards people of different races/genders/ages or religions for one reason. Being a particular minority/majority doesn't change evidence. If only people saw how much abuse cops get you might see how hard it is to do my job. Uninformed people take great pleasure in calling me a pig/racist/or violent but don't have a problem calling us when they need us. Hypocritical much? Either way they get the same service as people who are nice to us, it's not worth my job to treat people differently.

And how would one of you feel if I called you a Bastards, having never met or spoken to you? Hmm maybe that would be discrimination !!!
Chill lady. I've told you before that many of my friends and relatives are LE or military. How come you're not patrol anymore?

Comment not directed at you poke the bear, i know you do, however i like to show people the other side of the coin. I'm working in a specialist department now, thankfully not walking the beat in the snow!!.
Weeeeeeeeeeell...the media hasn't been known to be too bias-free when deciding what to cover, or how to cover it. Everything seems to be tainted with politics, lately.
The people are so much nicer, here.
