It's Asia. They don't have that awkwardness that the US does surrounding sexuality. I've heard that the US is the only country that is so open about violence (CoD and the like) which is harmful and unnatural but so closed about sex and sexuality (orientation, preference, and other whatnot) which is 183.9% natural and healthy and kind of necessary to perpetuate the human race.
It's not that sex is bad, it's that sex (and sexuality) is something available to talk about. It's not this horrendously uncomfortable topic, but it is something that is more or less private. I wouldn't expect it to be on the levels of us American BOOM BAM LOOKITMEBLOWTHEHEADOFFTHATBASTARD! OMG! RUN THAT SHITSTAIN OVER! GTA! WOO! MOAB INBOUND!
