Trees that grew in a warzone

Awww man, sounds like the mine in hot fuzz, could blow up if agitated enough o~o

Well tree number 2 and 5 both have munitions in them so that's possible. I've heard of people burning wood and having a bullet go off in their stove.

Holy crap! That's scary! Has anyone actually died from that happening?

Don't know for sure, last time I read about that it happened in Russia. And since I can only recognize but not speak/read Russian I didn't follow the link to the actual story. But tree two above looks like a mortar shell and tree five appears to be a ww1 grenade either of which could still be live ammo and make for a very bad day.

Geez, they could have picked another tree to lop, if I saw a tree with a grenade or a bullet, I'd take a photo of it and nope away from that just to be safe

That's only possible if the object is visible, if you can't see it.

Oh yeah true, maybe if they had a metal detector? Actually they probably wouldn't haha
