This isn't the problem. It's before and after that's the problem because you're seeing all these couples and they're being all sweet to each other and this reminds you that you don't have a significant other which makes you want to either kill yourself right there to horrify them or beat each and every one of them because seeing them brings up this horrible aching feeling called "nobody except my parents love me"

That was me during Warm Bodies. During the romantic scenes I would crinkle my candy wrappers. It's fun being single.
