No, Darth Vader was defeated when he killed the Emperor. Anakin is shown in the picture.

I love how they used Anakin Skywalker instead of Darth Vader because he became good at the end

He always had some good in him. He was always at war inside. The dark was winning until he met Luke and then the good in him prevailed :D but you know the story. My favorite scene in all of star wars is when they are building Vader into his cyborg form and the Emperor told him that out of anger Vader killed his wife and he freaks. Goosebumps man.
