It's possible. 4chan people have the best made up stories on the whole internet (I mean right after the website of the American government amirite) and I wouldn't be surprised if anyone just posted it somewhere else to look like it's their original story and feel less bad about reposting. (Or maybe it was a 4chan user who reposted it later, we'll never know)

Hate this story, whether true or not. Someone scores a 3 on the @$$#0le scale, and another person ramps it up to 8. Then the 8 thinks he's clever or cute and justified for doing it. Pretty sure this is fiction, but we see examples of it all the time. Someone "steals" a parking place and the grieved party keys his car later. It's such BS.
