Exactly!! Why do we call them African Americans when they aren't from Africa?! Ya that's were their ancestors are from but not them! If they were born here let's just call them Americans!! I don't call myself Austrian American!!

good point, but a few people feel that it connects them to their heritage. To end racism, we shouldn't care if they call themselves African American, Indian American or Austrian American, we should love everybody the same <3
Not really... She's techincally South African-American. You forgetting the whole part about the country she is from, otherwise you are saying she is from every single country in Africa.
