It is a coco derivative, it comes as sort of the waste from the actual coco making process. It is made from coco butter I think...

Yeah it's made from cocoa butter, but the definition of chocolate requires the substance in question to use cocoa solids, of which cocoa butter is not.

the solids are still used to make it its just extracted before the finished product therefore to me its chocolate.
