THE NOSTALGIA

It can actually be pretty debilitating for a while....crazy.

All the time. Every year it gets worse as you think about what (and who) used to be.

I still have a bottle of old perfume I don't use anymore that I used to wear during a dark time in 7th grade. Still smells like pitiful teenage depression.

I love those moments.Even tho they're usually filled with regret and sadness I still love the feeling you get.

Marcel Proust wrote about how the sense of smell was so powerful that it can trigger intense memories more so than the other senses.

So whenever I eat lemon flavored lollipops, you know he really plain circular yellow ones? Whenever I eat one, I suddenly get the smell of bleach and detergent and fabric softener and I can hear the sound of washing machines and dryers
When I was little, the owner of a laundry place used to always give me a lemon lollipop. I even wrote a poem about that in the 6th grade. Got an A for it. :)

Yeah a perfume smell but everytime I smell it,it reminds me of the time I use to get night terrors so not a good feeling
