This has 11 likes, I'm worried not everybody realised it's very very sarcastic. :B I do not approve of rudeness and I think this kid shouldn't have been so awfully rude.

That depends on how she approached the girl but I still don't think being rude to old ladies is necessary in any way. They've been raised differently than we were, their views on world are different. It's very likely this particular lady wasn't trying to be mean or opressive or anything, she just pointed out something that was considered awful when she was a child. Someone thinking differently than you doesn't mean you can be rude towards them. Also, I generally very much dislike children who are bold enough to yell at random adults.

i'm sort of with you. I think it's good she can stick up for herself, but there's confident and then there's disrespectful, and if she keeps getting praised for being disrespectful, she'll grow up thinking it's the right way to go about life

Why, thank you for being sort of with me. May I ask at which particular part are you not with with me?

I personally think it was rude of the lady to go up to that child and make a value judgement, maybe its a lesson to the adult to keep you silly opinions to yourself, no one lies a busy body and no one should tell anyone how to dress.

Well yes, of course it was none of her business what the little girl is wearing but if you teach children to adress rudeness with rudeness, that's not going to get you anywhere, will it now.

glad she stood up for her self, and I know i'll get dislikes but honestly don't think kids should be encouraged to use language like that, at least not at a young age. I just don't think any kid should speak like that and be praised for it- it'll just make them think it's okay to be disrespectful to anybody who confronts you
