I went on a hike and my bro nearly touched one while grabbing onto a rock. It screamed, he screamed, it was awesome. Then my mom said it was a pika and that pikachu was named after them.

Yes! It used to be one of my life goals to see on in the wild. Then I did! And it was as adorable in real life as it is in the pictures.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Pikas are known to drag dead birds into their food lairs and eat the brains out when there's a shortage.

I am always surprised when I see them because they should replace hanpsters
