Probably higher taxes so that people can attend uni for free? Here in Australia our prime minister is trying to make it more expensive for people to go to uni, which I just don't get. Why not encourage people to go, if they finish uni and get high paying jobs they'll be helping to contribute to the next generation of uni students. And so on and so forth. I think we need to start investing in our futures a little better.
Yeah, I totally agree. I saw this thing where some countries HELP pay for college you eventually have to pay it back, but after you started making a minimum sum of money per year when you start you career. If you don't pay it in a certain time frame, then it's taken care of by the govt? I don't know, we don't have that in America so it's kind of hard to wrap my brain around it.
We do need to start investing on out futures better, I know some people who don't want to go to college just because of the price. They have the grades to get accepted, but its so expensive. Loans bring you in debt, Grants are hard to get, and scholarships are competitive as hell.
These posts are moronic because the postee is only giving a small portion on how the system works. You have to qualify. Not everyone gets this free college. The ones that don't qualify have to go to another country in order to attend. The same is in France. The french go to Belgium if they don't qualify. So there's a catch to everything. Nothing is free.
That's true though, and even though there are athletic scholarships they're super competitive. There are "no essay" ones as well, but so many people apply for them it's ridiculous.
There's a catch idiots. You have to qualify, so if they did this in the u.s, then non of us would qualify. They don't just pay retards to go to school. Also, You can't just show potential. You have to show results in high school, and the majority of us Americans do not do that. So quit posting shit like this without actually knowing all the facts from other countries.
That's like the south Americans saying hey in the u.s the government helps students pay for their college. Yeah that's true, but depending on how dumb you determines how much help you get.
