Left? He sold of the whole dawgone thing, lock, stock and barrel to Microsoft. Word has it that one of the reasons is that he got tired of the whole thing. 2.5 billion helped a lot too.

Mojang is still there, but just owned by Microsoft. He left that Mojang too
