I pretty much always get talked over, so I make extra effort to be that person who listens.

When I get interrupted, I just stop talking. The worst part is that no one notices. It's like I never even spoke. That is why, if someone interrupts the person who's talking to me, I always ask them to continue on saying whatever they were saying, just so they won't spend the rest of the day feeling like shit.
