It's not really that hard. Round it to 4000/500 and you get 8 so you can safely assume the answer will be around 8. Take 473 times 8 and you get 3784. 3900-3784=116. 116/473 is about 1/4 so I assume the answer is around 8.25 and actually doing the division you get 8.24524 and that's pretty damn close to 8.25. It's not that hard.
