The early commercial planes cost so much they were only affordable by the rich, current planes can be afforded by most ordinary people. If you want 1950s plane style luxury, get buisiness class - it costs about the equivalent of a plane ticket back then.

First class is your friend.

I agree. It's a bus. But that's what planes are now. And in a 1970's plane you got the top service. But then they figured out they could charge more by creating classes. First/Second.. 80's/First/Second/Business,90's First/Second/Business
