When I was a kid, my sister and I scared a mother duck away from her nest and took all the eggs (I know. We were monsters). We put the eggs in an empty aquarium under some heat and later that week they all hatched. The ducklings followed us all around our neighborhood in a cute little line. We fed them soggy dog food (the dry food soaked in water), and gave them very original names like Cheeper (he was the one who was cheeping while in his egg when we brought them home and he hatched first), Blacky (the black duckling), and some others. I don't remember all the names. But there were I think about 9 in total. We kept them for a bit then took them to a second chance wildlife place.
