Buddhism is the only religion I can think of that's related to that, with reincarnation, and even that's ridiculously loose. I'm curious now.

Well...if you think of time in the way where all moments are happening simultaneouly, you're always waking up on the same day. The trying to fix your mistakes could just be called life. It could be seen as just living, trying to grow, to be better, to correct your mistakes, etc. sooo...yeah...DEBATED! :)
