French numbers weren't that hard for me. Just the parts where you had to start multiplying and adding things made me frustrated.

We, French people, don't multiply them. We just know them by heart

In Denmark we say nioghalvfems 9= ni 90 = halvfems, so it's 9+90 :)

yeah, it's not exactly the same of course. Halvfems is 90, but there is some more math behind it, isn't it? Just like when you say 60, isn't it something like 3 times a "snes"/20? Lol.

Yeah that's right, 60 is called tres, wich is short for tresindstyve, and that translates to 3 times 20 :)

So confusing when you haven't memorized it, lol.

I think 80 is like that, cause it's quatre-vingt, right?
