I think it's quite funny that everyone believes German train schedules are perfect but apparently you are unaware that for Germans the train system is the anti-Christ of punctuality, reliability and niceness!

A couple of decades ago I believe the German train system was on time, it had a lot of one time travellers too!

As an Australian who reacently went to Germany a train was 3 minutes late and everyone got so p*ssed off but when I returned the first train I took was from my hometown to the city (roughly 40 mins), it was 20 mins late then went for roughly 15 mins before kicking everyone off and having it replaced by busses which still hadn't come 2 hours later when I finally managed to get a lift to come pick me up. This is not the first time this had happened and probs not the last. German trains are awesome in comparison
