I mean.. A plane on the ground is pretty high up so I can still land wrong and break my head. How big is the plane? Is it a commercial plane? Is there a big patch of grass I'll be landing to? Where are "all the facts" you speak of? I want my money man

The "plane"is not an airplane, but a geometric plane which is 1000 feet above the ground (which, locally, is another plane).
