For real; there's always some asshole who takes advantage of the system and ruins everything for the people who actually need help.

The text down the bottom says something along the lines of 'proof of homelessness must be shown' (I've seen a better quality copy of this). Not sure how you'd prove you're homeless, but they're obviously trying to stop people taking advantage of it.

The dirtbag that is being spoken of will always be there. Unfortunately, these things don't help in the long run.

They give the homeless a little something to look forward to though. So they don't jump off a bridge for example.

Subway is a nice place. One time we found a stray kitten outside the Subway store, and the employees gave us some free tuna to feed the cat. Props to you awesome employees!
