Depends on the game. Open world sandbox games are still a good time. Shooters, racing games, and anything with a ratio worth keeping are likely to inspire confusion, happiness, and possibly rage (Hardcore gamers only)

Yeah, I think all of the things you just mentioned are considered as "video games".

Yes, but they are different kinds of video games. Snake, pong, tetris, even virtual solitaire is technically a video game. Different types of video games stimulate different parts of the brain. Some games require more focus than others. If we were to actually apply science to a test like this, it would need to account for variables.
