Not true. I'm an atheist who respects religion, I even think it's interesting. I count it as mythology.
But you must know that there are also jut as much believers who are "assholes" to atheists too.

No argument there. I'm just saying that a lot of atheists are obnoxious about their atheism just as much as a lot of religious people are obnoxious about their beliefs.

Actually, no. Being atheist means you 100% don't believe in God, being agnostic means you're not quite sure. Being atheist and being kind to those who are theist aren't mutually exclusive, just as being agnostic and being kind to those who are theist aren't mutually inclusive.
