That's pretty smart
They've (London and other large cities) started to implement safety measures around important buildings as well. Benches, planters, and other decorations are designed to be able to stop a car
I dont know about London but in the us shelters take in women and children first and fill up fast theres also strict rules rules rules you can take with you into the shelter so many homeless cant or wont go
Strict rules?
What don't they allow, aside from the obvious?
And some of the shelters nearby me are almost never filled, so I think that point may be subject to change.
well there goes my plans of being a homeless chair tester with a garbage problem and a desire for the wind through my hair whilst riding a skateboard across a bench and littering.
Many countries have quite similar benches, designed to be comfortable when sitting but making it impossible to sleep on them. Fucking anti-homeless measures. (And yes, there are shelters for the homeless, but nobody wants to go there. Everyone tries to steal your shit, it's noisy and it stinks.)
Maybe some of that marvelous architectural design skill could be used to find some shelter for those homeless who don't have anywhere *else* to sleep...

What purpose would have this as a mantra serve?
