No the word feminist is great and fucking important, what your saying is a bunch of assholes and trolls are making fun of feminism so we should change the word? If a douch bag can't or won't make the destination between what feminism is actually about and what a bunch of wankers on the Internet think it is then its not up to us to pander to them. Calling it feminism is just as important as the act of being a feminist and we shouldn't have to make excuses. The word feminazi was coined by morons and misogynists to discredit a movement. There is no such thing as a feminazi, there are women and men who are idiots and don't know what a feminist is......but not feminazis.

I'm not trying to start The Great Internet War, but feminists are supposed to be equal for both genders. Why the living hell are they called feminists? That is aimed towards women, saying that women get more equality. And before you say that men don't need equality, yes the hell they do. Guys have to either be muscular gods with no feelings doing the most disgusting things and getting drunk, or be forever stuck being a fatass video game obsessed nerd.
Also, metalman, instigator means to start up multiple flame wars by getting into others conversations repeatedly.

I'm an instigator I won't deny it but everyone that's part of this community have either done it or do it on a regular basis.

Feminism by grammatical definition is belief in women in terms of equality. Basically, getting rights for women. But what about men? That's why equalitarianism is better

You guys these questions could be easily answered if you did just a little bit of research. There is a very valid and important reason it's called feminism and why it needs to keep being called feminism. If you honestly want to know and care about it then I beseech you to do some reading (not just Internet memes or tumbler) talk to some teachers in these areas. Feminism is about every one and beneficial to everyone, the term is valid for what it represents and is striving to achieve. I really think if more people took the time to read and learn about true feminism then we wouldn't have to repeatedly and exhaustingly have to spout the same rhetoric.....it's so tiring and disheartening to see something that is so necessary and means so much to so many people reduced to a whiny internet shit fest. Feminism is great for EVERYONE, it excludes no one. *sigh* I feel like a broken record, just go do some genuine research, the time you spent here could be used to actually make a difference.
