I really hope that there isn't an emergency in which he would have to run and he's wearing this. It would be disastrous. It's an adorable idea though, her body is moving and she at least gets to feel like she is walking.

My niece is a paraplegic toddler. The hardest thing is actually carrying her around every where. Its giving her parents back problems. She's too small to easily reach down and pick up all the time and her extra, squirmy weight is hard on us all. I've wanted to "strap her on" like this a time or three. She does have very limited use of her legs, so we hold onto her hands to let her walk a few steps, which is VERY HARD on her shoulders. I think this is genius. If I could afford it, I'd so get it for her. It'd help with her parents back problems and her shoulder problems.
