At first I didn't understand and just thought "Wow, that is a really inefficient burial system, they should fix that."
Then I got it and realized I'm actually an idiot.

An old French saying says "dead at 20, buried at 80" ("mort à vingt-ans, enterré à quatre-vingts", and yes, we say "quatre-vingts" for 80, which literally means four-twenties).
