umm not all cops are murderers. The ratio of shitty cops and decent cops is like 1:15. They just only show the shitty cop incidents in media because it's more interesting and they know it'll get more attention because cops are getting such a bad rep. It's a cycle.
Imagine someone still making back to back payments on a car and now they have to stop their child's therapy because they can't afford both since someone wanted to wreck their car during a hissy fit
They should have had insurance, their own fault. But we can make up scenarios all day the fact of the matter is you can replace a car or get it fixed but Freddie Gray will not see another day.
Oh look the anonymous racist pussy. If this were to happen to someone you care about I doubt you would just sit by quiet while corrupt cops hide behind their badge. These riots made me want to research into this issue, so they did have an affect on people. And obviously they made progress those cops have been indicted. If your car is more valuable to you then someone's life, Then you are definetly what is wrong in this world. If I had the choice of getting my property destroyed to save someone I would.
This guest is probably just trying to get some attention. Probably from 4chan or some shit where this is tolerated. Don't feed the troll.

Does insurance even cover riots? I think it would depend on the policy. Those cops were indicted because they were guilty, not because of rioting. Wanting justice isn't the same as taking revenge on people who had nothing to do with it.
but people who are uninvolved are dragged into the damage by violence- how could they have anticipated a riot over something they weren't a part of and may have known nothing about? That's like saying, "you hurt my friend, so I'm going to go and smash up that family's house over there."
I 100% agree that these riots are a problem, but remember that riots and the innocent black people being murdered are SEPRATE issues. Some people are saying that these murderer cops are innocent because of the riots (happening AFTER the murder). no joke, I've seen so many people like this, saying the murderer cops are innocent and then turning around and getting mad at rioters.
most people get mad when the rioting is used as an excuse by some to break and enter, steal and inflict violence wherever they choose because nobody will notice in such chaos. People take it too far and lose track of the reason the riot started in the first place-to bring justice for lives that were unnecessarily taken.
If someone in my family or I know gets murdered and corrupt cops try to cover it up you best fucking believe I'm going to fucking riot. I'll riot all over your fucking asses. Fuck your corrupt ass system and corrupt ass politicians. These riots are bringing light to a bigger issue and if you can't see that YOU are part of the problem. Open your eyes people.
Most of the people that are rioting are STRANGERS to the people that their doing it for.
So I'm sorry that I don't see the point in setting fire to a strangers store to get justice. That only hurts people who would want to help. It'd make sense if they did it to police cars or a police station but not random people shit on the street ? You don't know their stance. I would be PISSED if my car got totaled because you were angry.
If you think hurting innocent peoples stuff to get a point across, you're not bettering your movement. You're actually just supporting the cops side even more. They can now use your violence against you.
I don't agree with you. At first before I knew about the whole issue, I too thought this was insane. But because of these riots I understood why this was happening. So you think damaged property is more important than someone's life? Just because you're a stranger to someone doesn't mean you can't stand up for what is right. I know some of the people rioting and looting were doing it for their own benefit, I won't deny that. But just like any cause there are those who ruin it for others. These riots are a small price to pay for what has been happening for years.
I believe that ruining someone else's life, livelihood, and will to live because someone else killed someone else is stupid. This country was based on the philosophy of life, liberty, and property (which changed to the pursuit of happiness) to infringe on someone's right to life warrants punishment but so does infringing on someone's right to property. Justice will be served but punishing the middle man is the wrong way to go about it.
Peach9, tell me. If you lived in the area where these riots were happening and it was YOUR apartment building that got set on fire, destroying all of your stuff and maybe even killing some people inside, you would be fine with it ? You think it's okay because it's for a " bigger purpose "
Either way riots don't help their cause. They only further the stereotype that black people are violent and that the police are just stopping them. They aren't hellin your cause they only damage it. That's why MLK got shit done, he did it to where there was nothing people could use against him.
I'm sorry but black people aren't the only race that riot. And if you take a look back they riot for a reason. White people riot over dumb shit like a fucking hockey game or a pumpkin festival. Don't believe me do some fucking research. And for you to make an ignorant statement that this is why black people are stereotyped as being violent is blowing my mind. Society today is so fucking sheltered from reality it really boggles my mind. Don't believe all you see in the media sweetie. As if a white person isn't capable of being violent, get the fuck out of here. I'm done talking to you. Fucking ignorant.
1. No one said that black people are the only ones that riot.
2. To damage and destroy someone else's life while they're living because someone else died is asinine.
3. If you perpetuate a stereotype by acting a certain way it supports the belief in that stereotype, no matter the stereotype or race.
4. Just because you looked more into the subject doesn't make you an expert and talking down to those who have a different view point is ignorant.
5. To condone violence in response to violence furthers the need to respond with violence. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
It seems you need to up your reading level. I said stereotype. Stereotypes are not true. I never said that black people were ACTUALLY like that. I never claimed they were the only race to riot. All I said was that rioting worsened the stereotype and there are stereotypes for EVERYONE.
And I don't believe everything I see in the media.
And BTW, I'm not ignorant. I just hold a different view than you. I'm not sorry for believing it is OKAY to hurt someone else because someone completely unrelated got hurt. Yes the cops should be put into jail, but doing shit like this isnt going to make your statement any more valid.
Lastly, grow your ignorant SJW type ass up because the underdog doesn't always win, and they sure as hell don't by beating up bystanders. It only makes the bystanders root for the bad guys.
Ummm, guys, there were peaceful protests in Baltimore. For like a week. With about 10,000 people. But people mainly payed attention to the riot, which lasted a couple days and involved a few hundred people. If you are still hung up about that riot, then you are part of the problem.
