Musical typewriter

I suck at writing down music. I can't read my own notes. I go as far as writing down letters that stand for notes. It's awful.

I never thought about it until just now!

I just make staves on graph paper and go from there (one staff spans 3 lines excluding ledger lines)

What if there's a typo...
