Not entirely no, everyone is born with a genetic disposition to either naturally gain weight, or stay thin. But no, THAT obese, I agree, that's insane.

Okay I have to slightly disagree. There is no reason that somebody had to be fat. No genetics, nothing. It's as simple as the rate of consumption vs. usage of energy. Fat is stored energy. If you take in more energy (food) then you use, you store it as fat. Nurture beats nature here based on simple biology and logic.
Yes, I agree, consume more than you burn off, yes you will gain weight. HOWEVER, some people genetically prone to gain weight, whereas some are genetically prone to stay thin. Can someone who is prone to gain weight easier stay thin? Certainly. Can someone who is prone to stay thin, gain excess weight? Also certainly. My point is, genetics DO play a role in what happens. It's a tiny role, and you don't have to let it happen, but your genetics DO play a role. You'd know this, if you have ever taken a basic nutrition course. (However, in no way, am I condoning this woman's choice, she's just disgusting).

Yeah, I do know that. I'm saying only that it is negligible and can't be used as an excuse.
How the hell does someone allow themselves to get that big. That is not fucking genetics.
