Shit, I have that DLC and I'm terrified of doing the quest.

There are random pieces of armour along the shores of solstheim. When you find one, the quest wi begin and youll get a map. After you get all four pieces, something happens (I forget what) and you'll be directed to a barrow. Youll need a key to get in (you find it with the armour). Inside, you'll need a ancient Nordic pickaxe to break through a wall and inside there you'll find the treasure and two swords which get buffed as fuck when you use them with the full armour set and each other. Altogether, the armour has a higher armour rating than any unmodified armour (I think)

Damn, what level would you say is safe to attempt this quest?

It's not a very difficult quest I'd say lvl 24+
Also the armour is called the deathbrand armour

The base stats of the armour ate low, but it has a bonus if you wear all four pieces which makes it stronger than daedric.

In the game, it says heavy armour but it is light armour and benefits from the light armour perks

Hell yeah. Strength of heavy, perks of light. Kinda like a badass version of Wolf Armor.

Yeah. I wear this armour set with a ebony set (ebony mail included)
